Facilities/Remediation Services Leader LVI Services Acquires Randolph Construction Services ~ Pasco, WA

Manhattan, NY and Pasco, WA - LVI Services Inc., the nation’s leading provider of facilities and remediation services, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of leading design-build general contractor Randolph Construction Services, Inc (Randolph).  The addition of the Pasco, Washington-based Randolph is consistent with LVI’s growth strategy of expanding its facility and construction capabilities with unique project planning, development and response solutions.

Established in 1982, Randolph has successfully completed design-build projects for commercial, industrial and government clients; most recently serving the Departments of Homeland Security (DHS) and Energy (DOE) and the US Customs and Border Protection Agency on deliverables designed to detect and interdict nuclear and radioactive threats.

In October 2007, Randolph was awarded a multi-year contract from the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration’s Second Line of Defense Program. Through this DICCE (Design, Integration, Construction, Communications and Engineering) contract, Randolph installs Radiation Portal Monitors and accompanying communication equipment at international seaports, river ports, airports, rail and vehicle ports of entry.  Randolph’s DICCE team has completed 77 projects in 11 countries totaling more than $145 million in support of US national security efforts.
