J. David Eads

David Eads is Vice President and Co-Chief Operating Officer for the Southeastern region of the United States, responsible for LVI’s services in Gulf Coast states from Texas to Florida, and also oversees LVI’s Federal Government division. He works closely with LVI’s regional managers to ensure that all available resources are utilized to optimize operations, estimating services, business development and staffing project assignments to ensure client satisfaction.
Before joining LVI, Eads worked for an international firm for 34 years where, as a senior executive, he was in charge of large and difficult domestic and international engineering and construction assignments. His responsibilities included all aspects of project and business management, including initial sales, scope development, engineering, construction and start-up, in a variety of industries – petrochemical, chemicals, metals, consumer products, general manufacturing, pulp and paper, cogeneration, food and beverage and more. His international experience includes the establishment and oversight of projects in China, Korea, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.
Eads draws upon his extensive experience to maximize LVI’s resources in all offices and provide each project with the best LVI has to offer. He assigns the right combination of experienced management to perform each project – whether commercial, industrial, nuclear or institutional – in a safe, cost-efficient and timely manner.
Eads holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology.
