Tom Gilmore has been vice president of nuclear decontamination and decommissioning for LVI since 2002.  He is based in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Gilmore oversees the company’s nuclear decontamination and decommissioning business at both the corporate and field levels, including coordinating business development, estimating and operational performance with the branch offices.  He also provides additional resources as necessary, such as experienced project managers, superintendents, engineers and quality assurance managers to support project execution.

Gilmore’s experience includes facility decontamination and decommissioning, asbestos and lead-based paint abatement, demolition services, the application of thermal insulation systems, and the design and installation of fire/radiation barrier penetration seals and fire protection systems for nuclear power plants.

Before joining LVI, Gilmore served as regional vice president of an engineering and project delivery company. He also served as the president of a start-up decontamination and decommissioning division for a national environmental firm.

Gilmore graduated from the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse with a bachelor of science degree in business administration.
