James Mooney returned to LVI in January 2006 as a regional manager, with responsibility for client relations, bid review, business development and receivables in Washington, D.C. He previously was an estimator and project manager in LVI’s Philadelphia office from 1987 to 1991 and an estimator and vice president in the New Jersey office from 1994 to 2000.
Before rejoining LVI, Mooney was a project manager for two leading construction services and construction management companies. Earlier in his career, he held positions as an estimator, project manager and sales manager with various interior construction and asbestos abatement firms.
Mooney earned a bachelor’s degree from Saint Michael's College, Colchester, Vt., and served as commissioned officer in the United States Air Force Reserve.
