Summary:
Manages the successful start to finish of projects, from bidding to overseeing the work and completion of all paper work. Directs supervisor and hourly work force, deals with client and subcontractors, interfaces with in-house administration and ensures paper work is completed on a timely basis.
Essential Functions:
- Knowledgeable in Asbestos Abatement and Remediation
- Knowledgeable in Lead and Mold Abatement and Remediation
- Ensure compliance of regulatory requirements both on the job and with the agencies
- Provides a safe work site
- Handles paperwork, pre-job, jobsite and post job
- Schedules and coordinates manpower, warehouse needs
- Ensure project is running as bid
- Walk Through potential opportunities
- Maintain job books
- Communicate with Branch Manager, Estimator, Office personnel, supervisors and clients
- Bring closure to project inclusive of invoicing, close out documentation requirements and conclusion client satisfaction
- Is responsible for progress tracking, including but not limited to: % complete, schedule status, committed cost and cost to complete, etc.
- Work with accounting to get accurate invoices in on schedule
- Assume other duties assigned
Knowledge and Experience:
- At least 3 years working in leadership position in construction environment, preferably in remediation or demolition
- Working knowledge of regulations
- Computer literate; Microsoft Office
Education:
Bachelors Degree preferably in Construction Management or 8 years of construction management
