Biometric Time Clocks

Working with the largest manufacturer of time clocks in the world, LVI has developed a time clock system specifically designed to retrieve and transmit accurately and quickly hourly time information from LVI work sites anywhere in the United States. The time clocks have been designed to transmit data to our payroll department by telephone line or by wireless communication where projects do not have telephone lines available.

For added security to the work site and to prevent “buddy punching,” LVI’s time clocks are biometric and work through a fingerprint system.  Fingerprint data is stored as a mathematical representation of the fingerprint but the actual fingerprint isn’t stored anywhere, alleviating privacy concerns.  To clock in and out each day, employees place a finger on a pad and scan their badge each time they interact with the terminal. The biometric technology reduces labor costs, streamlines the payroll process and ensures accuracy in recordkeeping and billing – just one more advantage to working with LVI.
